Beautiful Peacock Freshwater Pearls expertly hand-wrapped on
Sterling Silver jewelers wire and beautifully framing flower
Sterling Silver beads. Hanging from this handmade chain of pearls
is a intricately hand-carved Yellow Turquoise pendant that is
surrounded by Sterling Silver bead caps that anchor an
eye-catching scattering of larger and smaller dangling Peacock
Freshwater pearls. The Peacock (purplish/black) color of the
Freshwater pearls brilliantly bring out the dark swirls in the
Yellow turquoise
(I would have never thought of pairing these components had they
not been laid next to each other on my studio desk while trying to
organize!). The greatest surprise is this wonderful hand carved
Chinese style Yellow Turquoise pendant that has been centered in
the middle of your neck. A Sterling lobster clasp quietly holds
this GORGEOUS necklace together. This is a “hidden” clasp style
that I enjoy using to bring out the beauty of the ornamentation on
the back of the neck.
This piece is 17 ˝ inches long, the Turquoise pendant measuring 1
inch with the beautiful Freshwater Pearl dangles extending it
another 2 inches (3 inches total).
