| There
are some designs I have to think about and PLAN, there
are others that seem to be already planned when I simply
see the focal bead for the first time....this is one
of those focals! Karl created this gorgeous borosilicate
focal bead, then coldworked it on the lapidary grinder...it's
absolutely stunning in it's own right! I then had him
create a custom matched boro set in several shapes,
shades and sizes and accented them with Thai Sterling
beads and Swarovski encrusted flower clusters . All
of this is handknotted on imported Greek leather and
closed with one of Joanie's floral toggles. This piece
measures 17 1/2 inches. With the width of the beads,
it fits me as a 16inch chain would (as a choker). If
you need it a tad longer (an inch or so), I could add
some chainmaille links near the clasp..which would also
be a beautiful accent to the design. This is a non-repeatable,
one-of-a-kind. Of course, finished off with the 5 Fish
signature tag.
