Here is one of my secret loves...Chain Maille! I often add portions of this style into my previous work but I don't often make an entire piece of chain maille weaves. The reason? They take SO long to make and my hands kill me for many days afterward. Every link is made by hand and connected ring by ring with alternating sterling silver and copper. This is one of my favorite weaves, the Parallel Chain. I have finished off in the typical 5 Fish way, with one of Karl's gorgeous boro beads (didn't think we'd leave out lampwork, did you?!?!) and the 5 Fish signature tag. This piece measures 7 1/2 inches... if it helps, my wrist measures 6 1/2 inches (snugly at the wristbone) and it fits me perfectly. It can be made smaller or larger if needed for no additional charge.
