Here is one of my secret loves...Chain Maille! I often add portions of this style into my previous work but I don't often make an entire piece of chain maille weaves. The reason? They take SO long to make and my hands kill me for many days afterward. Every link is made by hand and connected ring by ring with sterling silver. This is one of my favorite weaves, the Parallel Chain. I have finished off in the typical 5 Fish way, with one of Karl's gorgeous boro beads (didn't think we'd leave out lampwork, did you?!?!) and the 5 Fish signature tag. This piece closes with one of Kate McKinnon's toggles and measures 8 1/4 inches... if it helps, my wrist measures 6 1/2 inches (snugly at the wristbone) and it fits me with a little drape but doesn't slip over my wrist. It can be made smaller or larger if needed for no additional charge. Oh yeah, if you want a different color boro bead (let's say blue is not your thing), I can change it :)
