My favorite jewelry pieces are the ones that Karl and I collaborate on to bring the piece to a higher level of uniqueness. Here’s the deal with this bracelet… Karl made a large boro focal, consisting of several glass layers. We then cut the focal in half with the lapidary saw so you can see the glass layer striations running through both halves. Next, we spent about an hour grinding and faceting both halves down to a shiny finish. They remind me of little boro “bookends”. Karl made a boro set to accent the focal bead(s) and I put it all together in an asymmetrical fashion. This is a one-of-a-kind, cannot be repeated piece…definitely a conversation starter every time you wear it! Of course the surrounding boro beads are Karl's along with loads of Bali and Thai sterling. Fits most, it has enough play in the bend that it can be "squeezed" tighter for a smaller wrist or "pulled out" for a little more room. Of course, includes the 5 Fish signature tag.
