Mixed color combinations in Karl's borosilicate glass bead sets and focal pieces are heavily influenced by the many colors in nature and in the universe. As portrayed in many of his glass sculptural creations, early Egyptian and Mesopotamian carvings, wood and stone sculptural figures inspire him to imagine another dimension of time and space populated by these creatures.

Divine uniqueness and spontaneity are purely reflected in all of Krista's glass and jewelry works. During the initial design and construction process, she never plans or scopes an art creation. The current flow of the moment is her primary method of both concept and design.
