Hi there, we are
Karl & Krista Tseu! After spending most of my life in the bead capital
of the United States (Seattle, Washington) I now live in Virginia Beach, Virginia
with my wonderful husband Karl (who, by the way, designed this great site
for me!) and 3 beautiful daughters ~~ Katie, Kelli and Karsyn. We also
have an Aussy Cattle Dog and 2 cats that make it their mission to drive us
insane on a continual basis!
I have dabbled
in creating jewelry and lampwork since I was in my early 20's but it has just
been the last few years that I have become really "serious" about them.
When I say serious, I mean consuming every free moment of my time! Yes, like
many out there, I am a beadaholic and after years of buying the little jewels
for myself I needed to start selling my designs to support my habit!

Along with the
jewelry design side of our business, Karl and I are both steadily at the torch
creating gorgeous lampwork bead designs that we offer here on our website
and Ebay.
Using both hard glass (Borosilicate) and soft glass (Effetre)
I often use our own lampwork in my jewelry designs, creating them specifically
for the jewelry design that I have in mind at the time.

We
have been asked many times about the name of the website...
Here it goes (the Cliff Notes version)... Long ago, my husband
started calling our daughter, Kelli, a "little fish"
as a nickname. Then, the name extended to our other two
daughters, then the girls started calling my husband and
I the Mommy and Daddy "fish" and a family of "fish"
was born!
Our
Girls...Katie, Kelli and Karsyn
The
name stuck... When I was trying to think of a name
for our business, "5 Fish" just seemed to fit!
Calling it "Tseu Glass Art & Designs" just
seemed to "easy" for me, I have to make things
difficult whenever given the opportunity! LOL!
Like many parents, we have a busy life and wear many "hats"
but wouldn't change a thing! I am lucky to stay
home to raise our daughters and let my creativity flow into
my passion ~ creating unique & beautiful jewelry and
lampwork beaded designs that we offer for your viewing pleasure.
